Programs That Inspire
The Library Foundation funds programs that encourage reading, engage readers and build a better community. From books for newborns to popular author events, our programs nurture lifelong learning and sustain a vibrant public library system in St. Louis County.
These programs are made possible through private donations, memberships, and sponsorships from community members like you. Learn more about our programs and get inspired!

Enriching Lives
We support a variety of programs that open doors – to healthy food, education, job opportunities, and a safe, fun, comfortable home away from home.
Invigorating Discovery
Early readers are early learners. The Library Foundation is committed to nurturing a love of reading and learning throughout life, so we support a range of early literacy programs that reach children and their parents right from the start.
Building Digital Literacy
Being fluent in the digital space is helpful, if not necessary, today and being behind is a disadvantage. Closing the digital divide in our county is a smart investment and an important part of our work.
Stimulating Minds
St. Louis County Library hosts one of the biggest and most popular author event series, bringing in dozens of authors and over thousands of readers to share memorable and stimulating readings and discussions.
