On September 1, the Association of Fundraising Professionals - St. Louis Regional Chapter announced this year's regional National Philanthropy Day award recipients. We are excited to share that our very own Jackie Hamilton, Assistant Director of Advancement, was selected as the 2023 Outstanding Fundraising Executive! This award is annually given to the fundraising executive that practices their profession exceptionally and uses their personal influence, time, talent and treasure to create a positive impact throughout the region.

As the Assistant Director of Advancement, Jackie leads the Library Foundation’s efforts to build relationships and secure financial revenue to fund library programming and resources that are not funded by tax-payers dollars. Such programs and resources include Born to Read, social workers, the Teen Book Festival, author events, Alison Grants and so much more. Annually, Jackie and her team are responsible for raising over $1 million. Through professional experience and community involvement, Hamilton has played a vital role in raising over $100 million for various organizations within the past 20 years.

The National Philanthropy Day awards ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at the Marriott Grand in Downtown St. Louis.
